well, since the Ram is still in the shop(2 years now) I decided to trade my wife’s fusion in for an 07 Srt8 Jeep, and oh man, I’m in love ! All my toys are either black or silver, but I couldn’t find a decent one in either color so I opted for a red/orange one , 100k on the clock and its super clean, came with a kenwood double din and a sub, tires are new, brakes are new , it has some exhaust on it , maybe a slowmaster, which will come off soon , but the cold air and catch can are on their way, and I’m hoping to tune it next week !

Just bought the wife a 2019 Cherokee 4x4..what a couple of nice guys we are.

Congrats, my 1st and last Jeep was a '48 retired Army jeep. I was most likely driving a jeep before most of you guys were born. On cold hunting trips we would open the hood and warm our hands holding them over the 4 cylinder engine. They have made a few changes.

Im assuming you are in no rush then? :)

I was in a rush , but what can I do? The guy has like 20 cars in the shop, everything for these motors was/is on back order , “because Viper engines” , and back in June he was going to start it and his dad got killed by some guys that went on a killing spree here on the res, so he was off for a month, I stopped by last week and he said they had time blocked out in August just for the truck

Btw I received my diablosport T1 tuner and I just dropped in the 91 oct cai tune in to it, till I find someone who can tune it or help me modify the tune

Ancient ain't the word my man. After 65 the ball started down hill at mach speed. 38 yrs of 2 packs a day (stopped cold 20 yrs ago) and 30 of heavy drinking (stopped 35 yrs ago) took a very heavy toll. Some of us are just a little slow in the smarts department. I be 72 and sometimes feel I am running on empty. But----always get into the beast and feel 21 again for a little while-----till my keister tightens up.

I know the feeling ... drinking was never my thing after high school .. damn that was a long time ago .. I’ve only put one on a few times through all those years .. those damn smokes though .. I need to be locked in a room until I quit or get my keistered kicked on a daily basis lol , man haven’t heard that word in a long long time . Yeah the 10 definitely makes me feel like a kid , the problem is I’m over cautious in my area to really let it loose .. tickets stink ..give me the old days where that wasn’t a problem for invincible youth lol

Texas if great for letting her loose. 8 yrs since a ticket and that was because I had the music up so loud I could not hear the radar detector. The smoking-----all mental---2 packs a day for 38 yrs and laid em down and never looked back. Can tell ya that it took it's toll----can't run a basketball court without stopping to catch my breath and I quit 20+ years ago. Use 2 inhalers twice a day. At least the VA pays for all my medical care---100% so it always could be worse.

Not sure about the Texas freedom to let it rip .. I lived in Dallas area for around 5 years ... got a ticket the first day I got in town ( Plano tx) even with a radar detector that never signaled me lol.. that was in the early 1990’s.. but mostly your right ,, lots of area to run to ... when they say a TX mile they mean it lol...
one of these days I know I’ll quit smoking heck I’ve been trying for 40 years or better .. everytime I have quit I end up with a stressful situation or a very long drive across country .. need to stay awake you know .. so one smoke won’t hurt .. lol yeah ,, then 2,3 next a pack .. stupid habit .. maybe the Larry Hagman ( JR Ewing on Dallas tv show ) method he advertised years ago would work .. rubber bad on the wrist and snap it everytime you think about smoking one lol.
