Good to hear you replaced it.
I've had my 05 QC since May of this year, and as of today I've done the following: New tires, shocks, struts. I've completely replaced all suspension and steering parts, front wheel bearings, billeted and slotted rotors with ceramic pads, added a Mcgaughys 2/4.5 lowering flip kit, Caltracs traction bars, new U joints, Carrier bearing and rear tranny output shaft seal, tranny fluid and filter change. Truck rides and steers like brand new now. She only has 73K, but one of the previous owners did a mickey mouse job of lowering the truck. They removed a leaf from the rears, and literally heated the front coils with a torch to lower the front. I would hit a bump, and the truck would bottom out, very aggravating. Went with OEM rear leafs, what a difference. Now, I'm in process of replacing the valve cover gaskets, radiator flush, rear wheel bearings and seals and adding a Detroit Tru Track rear chunk that can handle up to 1150 Ft lbs torque. That will complete the mechanical. Then it's body time. Getting all door dings fixed, adding a hard bed cover and spoiler and a complete paint job with red stripes front to back.
