We like snow. Where we are now we get none....not even close.
When we move to the South Island we will see some and may even get a dusting from time to time.
We are looking to buy a house in Pleasant Point. About 12km inland from Timaru. Ity has a Golf Club and a Steam Train what else do I need...oh and good flat straight roads for the TRUCK!!! and no one lives there. 1 million for whole of South Island. 1.4 million in Auckland alone.

We have 1.2 million here but the city is large at 825 square kilometers.
