So I bought an OEM SRT10 spoiler from X2 Builders, and waiting for it to come in. Does anyone have a sketch on how it mounts? This is the spoiler that attaches to the bed, not a cover. I was told by X2 that it comes with two bolts and nuts, and all I have to do is align it to the bed and mark my holes. It sounds like I need to drill into the bed, can anyone confirm this?

    Bill,

The holes for the spoiler should already be in the Bed/Box, since your truck came with a spoiler only and not a cover. Only the trucks that did not come with a cover need holes to be drilled into the Bed/Box to add a cover. If you have any other question please phone me or email me.

    Bill,

The holes for the spoiler should already be in the Bed/Box, since your truck came with a spoiler only and not a cover. Look at the rear end of your truck Bed/Box there should be 2 holes on each side. Follow the directions in the link provided by rottenronnie which shows where the holes should be. Only the trucks that did not come with a cover need holes to be drilled into the Bed/Box to add a cover. If you have any other question please phone me or email me.

This spoiler is a solid piece, I'm amazed at how strong it is. Going to the body shop today to have them quote for paint, and to locate and drill the holes in the bed.
