So this past Friday, I had my truck at the speed shop to install some plain Jane fog lights. The Oracle ones started burning out in the halos, so back to Oracle they went to get replaced. While it was on the rack, I wanted to look at the right side of the front bumper. One of the previous owners had smacked something on that side, and it had broken some of the plastic structure in the fenderwell. I replaced that about five months ago, and noticed the right side of the bumper is sucked in further than the left. Grabbed a flashlight, and got very disappointed. The metal structure has be buckled in, and will require a few sections to be replaced. My question is, can a standard Ram 1500 2005 substructure be used?

I spent some time looking through the Service Manual and it seems like parts are all the same except for the obvious (SRT-10 specific Fascia, etc.)

Thanks Ronnie. Now I just need to hit the junk yard and get the parts. Or, I should be able to buy new hopefully.

For the 10's some parts are similar and interchangeable with the 05-06 ram 1500 or 2500 but you should be able to get parts from X2 builders or Cleveland Pick Apart.

Also you should find some parts oem or after market on ebay as well.

Front Fascia. Is the one on Rockautos page the correct one or is it a generic ram bumper cover?
What about ED Duraflex are these any good? They are half the price and I can see they are the same as ours

Is Andy's Auto Sport a legit outfit. The reviews are terrible, or is there a campaign to undermine them.

Damn! I hate it for you Kiwi. Is the substructure for the fascia bent as well? There's a website called CarParts.com where we can get a lot of parts like that. Unfortunately they are upgrading the website, so unable to do a website search at this time. Was there any body damage, or just bumper damage?

Front fascia, left fender, left door, door handle, rear bumper cover, both tail lights and left headlight. Rockauto have it all but rear bumper cover. Insurance is paying so they want all Mopar parts if we can. I am helping the Panelbeater/Painter shop as their only Dodge part importer says it is all obsolete.

Have you contacted X2 Builders? I've bought several parts from them, good service. You should be able to locate the rear bumper cover at X2. Found it!
