    1/4 mile times:

    Both 12.8
Both 104.xx mph (1578 foot D.A. for the TRX; for the Lightning- D.A. doesn't matter)

    Close racing!

Yes, the electric Rivian is at least a second quicker in the 1/4 mile than the TRX or Lightning and runs the same ET as my SRT 10. Crazy stuff!!

In my opinion, it's a good thing they are fast because they sure aren't pretty.

At 7300+ pounds with a Driver, performance like that just proves that torque is a wonderful thing.

A range of 220 miles or so isn't sterling though and it drops to 1/2 that "pulling a trailer" according to Car & Driver.

We need new power sources that pull cosmic energy from black-holes.

I worked in SAGD (Steam Assisted Gravity Drainage) where steam is pumped underground, "liquifies" the bitumen and it is pumped out.

MOST of the area of our plant was a water-treatment facility as we had to filter underground brackish water for the boilers.

NO pulling water from lakes nor rivers, no Tailings Ponds, no dead Fish, Birds, Elk, Bears, Caribou or other critters littering the landscape.

No crazed Eagles flying upside down or attacking humans due to petroleum poisoning.

Sad part: US Congress came for a visit and returned home with a report that didn't even remotely reflect what they saw.

Bill Gates and Warren B also took a peek but that was before my time there.

So did Neil Young and Daryl Hannah driving a cooking-oil burning Hummer that smelled like Fries (again, before my time). Can't speak to the potential of other Hummers that may have occurred.

Take a picture of the sun behind STEAM billowing out of the Cogen(s), which makes the sun look orange; particularly when it's -35 and then you can complain about the horrible pollution!
