Need wires and coils upgrade installed (South Jersey)

I have a 05’ QC that I bought fatter wires and coils and was planning on replacing them when I did the plugs. Well, I found out that despite my best efforts I didn’t have enough dexterity in my fingers to reach bolts near the firewall. Probably got 1/2 way there (like it matters) before giving in and reinstalling everything (I did get the plugs.) Anyone reasonable near by?

I just did this, so I feel your pain. I used a mix of torq sockets, magnetic sockets, smaller wrench and long needle nose plyers. The needle nose worked great to drop the bolts in on the back.
I ended up using a padded yoga mat to lay on the engine compartment. I don't know anyone in NJ but felt compelled to comment because I was just there.

Can't say how many times I've pulled those Intakes.
The Driver's side bolts close to the firewall (#9) can be a treat, for sure.

A gob of thick grease in the end of a socket works well to hold a bolt in position.

PS You ARE going in through the top of the Intake ("Holes"), with an extension, are you not?
I've watched guys try to access the bolts by going UNDER the Runners.

A gob of thick grease in the end of a socket works well to hold a bolt in position.

PS You ARE going in through the top of the Intake ("Holes"), with an extension, are you not?
I've watched guys try to access the bolts by going UNDER the Runners.

you still have to remove the intake to access the coils to attach the spark plug wire boots to the coils.

It’s quite a job. Two wires broke when I was just trying to do spark plugs. Now needing wires and to get to them had to remove the intake. Now Being in there I decided to do the coil packs. Take a lot of pictures because the routing of the wires is definitely a pain. Also are used in old pillow to lay on to get into the back and it saved the day

Thanks to everyone for their replies. And I was trying to remove the intake 1st, actually that was what I was having trouble taking off (sorry, I forgot to add that part to the original post.) I was also nervous when I tried to take out the fuel rails that I was going to snap the plastic piece that locks the injectors to the rail.

And BAP, I’ll look up Winters.

I left the fuel rail in place and just unhooked the fuel feed. The injector clips that actually hold the plug on mine where all ready gone. I just unplugged and plugged back in, hasn't been an issue. They make replacement injector plugs to fix any ones that may break. Only 2 wires so it's not a big deal.

If you are changing coils out. I went with DUI Screamin' Demon coils and Live Wires. You can open the plug gap up heaps and blah blah blah. Read their lie sheet and make up your own mind. The basic science makes sense to me.
