Continued from 2007 ... GO DOW GO!!

I really think NVDA will continue up after the split. I'm certainly no expert but it's gone up consistently since the 2021 split and has a good strong track record. Chipotle is food so who knows with that. If people ever figure out they can't afford to eat out that May change hahahaha
That reasonable thinking as the price will be much lower opening people’s wallets to buy that didn’t have the big bucks pre split .

It's not the kind of stock in your plan but i agree it will most likely grow even if it drops for awhile Post Split. I'm chsncing it :p

And i think DJT will go up when he's proven not guilty lol

Never chase … set in your mind what you will buy at the top ..

Part of my plan has always included to company large caps even without a dividend .. MSFT AND AAPL WERE DIV PLUS GROWTH .. AMZN , GOOGL we’re solid growth as FB (META ) was .. when it comes to mid caps and small caps those are the ones to be careful with .. with a div they become less risky IMO .. but are dangerous … WTI and FTR were great years ago with a decent div, until they killed the div . Both were dirt cheap and taking profits selling and buying back you could easily make a decent profit .. when the div went away they became a bad stock . FTR was the worst as the killed the div. Did a reverse split and went chapter 11 bankruptcy.. when the reorganization in the courts finalized they extinguished all common shares .. I had to instantly dump my shares to grab very few dollars back . I think costs made me loose around 18k . But trading it and collecting the divs and buying and adding more larger company stocks . I didn’t actually loose but gained more than lost ver the years with it .. WTI I made a lot in divs and never sold in the red .. I got out and ran and haven’t even looked at it since .. with the FTR DUMP LOSS I also get the tax loss write off of 3K a year and it carry’s over YOY at 3 k per year till used up . So basically you don’t loss .
I also loaded up over the years on a couple utility companies . Those are considered the safe stocks … they pay a div. DUK and D are major holdings n my portfolio. DUK just broke over 100$ per again . D is way down from what it was and they did cit 1/3 div when Buffett bought a chunk of the company in a crappy deal .since D is based in Virginia and a blue regulated state .. it’s made the price drop big but holds well even so .,this will change ,,I have no doubt ! I’ve owned it since I was 22 years old , I’ve bought a lot more over the years and still add right now . I take the cash on divs in my main D account and drip in the smaller accounts to add more . It’s price is around the low 50$ range now ,, it was up in the lower 80$ range before the Buffet BS deal .. the CEO is a personal friend of Buffet from what I heard and why he got a deal which is completely against his fiduciary responsibilities to share holders .. investors want his ass gone !

DJT is a hit or miss ,,, constant watch ,, never trust alerts you set either .. you can easily miss the trade . I’ve state before .. those types of stocks I don’t go in big and just look for lunch money and hope for a steak and lobster dinner hahaha .
I own a couple shares , I think I mentioned that before .. just for chits and giggles but watch it and may just do some more little flips on top …

Info , watch after AH as futures begin .. 4 am you can possible buy and sell with a broker . 7am begins pre market and you can trade then … the 9am open begins the day ,4 pm begins after hours trading . Seeing what the markets are doing during each time can give you an idea of what may be going to happen on the day .. just be aware of head fakes between PreM and the open . Nothing is a given .. but it helps somewhat to get the feel of the trading for the day ..

Also be aware that when a split and some other events happen any partial share you own will be auto sold ,, even transferring your assets to another brokerage .. transfers also cost you a fee .. so make sure the brokerage you transfer to covers the fee .. fees are around 75$ to 100$ and could even be more !

Did you open the brokerage yet .. remember also it will take some time to get the account funds in it ..weekends and holidays won’t count

All good advice. I'm not advanced enough to know dividend and drip stuff but I'll keep learning!

You would have to buy the partial share or does that happen during the split?

The DRIP is just automatic reinvestment .. you set a setting to drip or not on the platform .. you can change it back and forth when you want ..
it means the brokerage will reinvest the div proceeds for you if you drip ..( DIVIDED REINVESTED PROGRAM ) !
If you don’t drip the divs will go into your cash account !

Either or .. if the split leave 1/4 share to say on a split .. it gets sold whether it’s in the red or not

Buying partial shares also costs a fee or makes you buy with a market order … depends on the broker ..

Hahaha yep .. it’s a game of pennies even for them
