Engine block number?

Hi - I am looking for my engine block number - using info from previous threads I've located a pad front passenger side of engine with following info on it:-
05 V 8.3L
0913 DRM 20032
Does this sound right?
Any help much appreciated !

This doesn’t make sense to me. What am I missing? On a 2005, by looking at the parts manual, where do you actually look to find this number? What am I missing? (See both pictures)

I still haven’t found the engine number. I actually totally forgot about it, since I was more concern getting the front end done.

Yes that's where I found the pad with the info on - the other pad at the rear of the block is just a copy of the vin
number - but who knows what the info means ? I had to take the photo with a borescope so apologies for pic quality

Can you make out all the numbers on the pad ? Definitely good info to know the locations .. even better if we can figure out the decoding lol

Maybe @2005ViperRam can get the numbers off both his engines .. My eyes aren’t what the use to be and I don’t have a bore scope or device to capture it …
Maybe comparisons of vehicles and the numbers will give something to start on !

I haven't found what I'm searching for on the 8.3l Dodge engine but this clarified a lot of basic information for me! I didn't know the differences between serial and casting numbers etc - yes I know this is for Chevy engines lol lol
