Yeah big marketing ploy. No one would of bought a 69 dodge off the sales brochure and had a choice of violet. Would never have sold any. Give it a special name and bam out the door they go.

Exactly ! Except the color was cool and I would have bought it before I new it was called plum crazy ! I was just a to young to own a car when they came out and didnt make enough money on my paper route hahaha If I CUDA should of I would of !

Took me 2 years to decide to put the stripes on. I knew the purple car with black stripes looked good so I was sure the black truck with the purple stripes would also look good.
Has turned out way better than I thought. A real head turner now. Never used to be. Most people never noticed it. Just another black ute (truck)
They are starting to call utes (utility vehicle) trucks now. Pissy little Ford Ranger, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Toyota Hilux, Isuzu, VW, LDV, Ssangyong, Mahindra, Great Wall and Merc etc. Most are between 2 and 3 litre diesel double cab that can't even fit a wheelbarrow in the back of. The handles hang out the back. But the nail polish wearing man bun brigade call them trucks.
 
I am always in awe of the man bun!!! WTF??? Sorry but i don't like buns on men lol not on their heads anyways Hah haha
