What the hell ,, ROCK AUTO !

Need a new about 6 inch piece of vaccum hose from the PCV valve to the intake manifold .. looked it up on C-rock auto and they want $50 :eek: LIKE THATS GOING TO HAPPEN HAHAHA

The other 3 on the listing are not the hose !

Went shopping online today and bought a PCV valve , set of plug wires , plugs , distributor cap and rotor , 1 downstream 02 sensor and a IAT sensor .... 109.xx including several shipping charges and tax ( rock auto :() still heat local , walmart and Amazon total this time !
Next running to the local auto store for some vaccum hose for the PCV and the valve cover to air cleaner hose , anti seize compound , carb cleaner ..

Heck whats left lol MAP SENSOR , another downstream 02 sensor , air filter cleaner and oil ..


What the hell is the problem ith 134-A A/C refidgerent .. It was made to not mess up the enviroment and ozone .. Its gone black market prices now ? Shit ! I need to find a A/C leak and fix it ..
 
Damn I toasted tonight ,, Wally world shopping looking formthings they dont have ... but did buy carb cleaner , a couple cans of black paint and 2 cans of 134a at almost 10$ per which appears to be the cheapest Ive found .
Plus I ate to much and spent to much ! But at least is was good healthy heart diet stuff .. you know a large bag of tortilla chips and jar of Salsa , 4 choclate pop tarts ans 2 strawberry pop tart , a bowl of shredded wheat cereal wih unsweetend almond milk and cocoa powder .. cant forget the 2 large wraps using home made thick chicken chilli on rice with sweet and sour sauce using lots of fresh and frozen veggies .. I neve add salt .. see heart healthy hahahahaha !
 
Used the carb cleaner to see if the dakota has any vaccum leaks .. it got a clean bill of health :)
Now waiting for the rest of the parts I ordered online .. need to still get a few things wally didnt have at the auto parts store ..

Im going to stock up on the 134a refridgerent when I find it cheap ( hopefully ) or may check for a 20 pound bottle since it is being faded out and the prices rocketing . I dont want to pay more just to keep my trucks a/c working or having to replace the trucks systems or home A/C system .. My home system is less than 3 years old ..
 
Looks like im going to have to buy the HAVAC tools .... gauges , leak detector and a vaccum ... THANKS LEFTY CLIMATE TURDS AND THE EPA ! This crap causes people to spend 1000's .. AGAIN , just like when they banned R12 refrdgerent ...

The menu sounds good to me! Never tried chocolate pop tarts but strawberry my fav. The wraps sound yum. You didn't have butter pecan ice cream??!!??

Do home systems use 134A? I had no idea yikes!

I ran out of butter pecan :mad: and will have to go to Publix to get some more andmmore sherbert
