Morning to you all,

Just joining as I've got my eyes set on a Q/C. Im over in the UK so looking at importing which isnt a issue since it is slightly harder to find the trucks over here and then to find a good condition one. Ive got an importer set up your side of the pond so now its just about finding the right truck.

Now I may end up with a manual conversion in the future (as im suitably engineering qualified) and am leaning towards a 2006 to have the later model uplifts. Now I know about the issues with the 2006 console conversion parts being a unicorn but Im equally confident that I would be able to engineer something for the job.

Starting to look at the trucks on here and seen a few for sale over the US. Weighing up condition, mileage and modifications as im then not having to pay 30% on importing modifications to say swap out the headers as the tax man has had enough off me importing parts for my 300zx.

I had considered the 2005 R/C however I dont think the dog would like to be wedged in behind the seats next to the sub.

Ive been looking at Venomous 1 and others for parts but the website is massively out of date it seems on what is available when it comes to manual conversion etc.

Yes indeed there is a Ram I've got my eye on that that is full of JTSVP parts in the description so starting to build my list of part sellers and seeing what's available.

Parts for our trucks

I ran across this site that looks like a used parts source for the 1500 not specifically SRT10 but some can interchange Maybe we could put parts sites we find or know of in one thread since parts are getting harder to source as the beasts are becoming vintage...

@Kiwi SRT10 has a good engine parts source he can let you know when he checks in and there are threads on here by others about the conversions they've done

They have added HP in the inferno reds in attempt to make them faster but was more based on BLACK ( The fastest color ) QC grocery getters added power to make up for the weight difference.. I love my grocery getter and back seat has more uses , the Dog will love it hahaha.

Many thanks. Starting the quest of finding reliable listings and know the forums are always a better source. At the minute I have an eye on this one below that seems to have sensible mods.

I think there is a couple of places for manual conversions at around 10k I like the engineering challenges so would probably end up doing it.
