NEW SRT RUMBLE BEE TRUCK (2027)

Sites that are topic specific like this one have the potential to be very useful.

I guess YouTube videos are easier to search, but that doesn't automatically make the info right.

At least here, specific things can be questioned and argued about, which is normal.

Some of the old topics on this site became quite entertaining .

I'm a few days late to the 8HP swap comments but I've spoken to Greg Drozd with Turbo Lamik at length a few times now about this swap. It looks like a DomiWorks adaptor kit, TurboLamik controller, transmission, custom DS, custom trans mount, and an external oil cooler setup (domiworks also makes this) is the bulk of the swap.

When I specifically asked if I would need a custom shifter setup for it his response was: "As far as the column shifters we have a solution for that that would allow you to retain it. Basically at the end of the cable you will install a linear position sensor and we can read that and assign a gear accordingly"

I've also spoken to MaxxECU, Sound German Performance, Seems Legit Garage, and CANTCU who all believe this swap would be relatively straight forward... Hell I even spoke with US Shift who specializes in Fords 10 Speed TCU's and they say it's completely doable in my 2006 QC if I could get an adaptor plate made up.

Oh and to keep on topic, I absolutely need that SRT Rumble Bee in my life. It may be time to trade in the Bronco Raptor lol

Get and let us know hahahaha

Well i learned something!!
I drove by a work crew that were weed whacking in and around a city park.
The Gas-Powered Honda 2500 "Jenny" was running on the tailgate charging their batteries, so they could save the planet with their battery-powered whackers by reducing the carbon footprint. (?)

Next time you see them tell them you truck sucks in all the pollutants into the filtered intake and save the world from that nasty carbon foot print hahahaha…
Or tell them that they are a carbon entity and ask the how the will eliminate that ? Hahahaha .

It's a conundrum!!
We ARE all carbon-based units!

Oxymoron for sure! Then the battery disposal issue ... hmmmm

Oh yeah they do! The circle ...
Aughh yes, the circle....
3,000 to a whopping 40,000 gallons of water are used to put out an electric vehicle fire.
Or...if needed, foam suppression is used too. That stuff contains high levels of PFAS. So PFAS AND the Lithium from the batteries all gets washed off the road and down the drain. And sooner than later ends up back into the drinking water that was used to put out the Lithium fire.

If Aliens really are around and watching, the time for an intervention might be here.

I talk to more and more young people that are convinced electric vehicles are gonna save the world.

"Get rid of those greedy oil and gas producers"!! they say.
I tell them ( though they may not want to hear it ) that the electricity to charge the vehicles doesn't come from outer space.

Patience kids, patience. These changes don't happen overnight. "Yeah, well dugghhh, they don't even do gender change operations at night".

But, but, we were just talking about Electric Vehicles!!??
