4th July

Ha!
Are you up for full-throttle launches yet?
Not really. Just went and saw the surgeon yesterday (Our Monday) and yes he wants to operate and put my shoulder back together. Now have to wait for that, could be 2 months. Then be out of action for 6 months. Probably March lol.

Stayed home after spending the whole day out on the water getting cooked.....then had a nice severe thunderstorm that was powerful enough to knock over tress and power out across three counties. Spent the evening of the 4th into the 5th sweating my ass off inside my own house because somehow after that storm was done there was no wind. Got power back mid-morning the next day where I live but people I knew in the next county didn't get theirs back for a good 12 hours after that. Fun times.

Just to add insult to injury, I drove up to Philly navy yard for the express purpose of seeing Big Boy 4014 as that was the closest it was gonna get to me its whole trip (still hour & half minimum drive). Philly could fuck up a wet dream. Woefully unprepared for the crowd size and apparently how hot it was FORECASTED to be (was still not as hot as the day before) and closed the event 2 hrs early. Drove through all that bullshit for nothing.

Oh wow. Not a very great weekend for sure :( We have had small outages on occasion but I've never experienced anything long! I imagine lots of food goes bad amongst many other things.

That's a bummer about Big Boy it is a magnificent sight to see
