CEL issue

Thats the plan, engine is running fine but i know the plug is in the same spot as before (not all the way down) Its to damn cold out -26*C to work on the truck and its suppose be around that temp for the next week. So im gonna have to get it into a shop so i can work on it.

A time sert would be the better choice rather than a helicoil. Here is their link.

I have never heard of "time serts" Jorge, but I do agree they would for sure be better then a helix coil:rock:,great find!:rock:

Well thanks for the info guys. Lets just take it one step at a time. Lets first see if i can get the plug in all the way with some anti-seize.

Off topic question. Do subs have to warm up to work correctly? Just went to the store and my subs are pushing out maybe 2% of the bass it normally does. To dark to check all the fuses. Only one i can think of is the main one that connects to the battery. Might have gotten abit wet from the snow when i was working on the truck.

Ok so i finally got around to checking the plugs. Oddly enough the #7 wire some how came loose but never got any CEL. Anyways, i took all the plugs out, including number 9. All the plugs look good and i put anti seize on #9 and it went down all the way and tightend like it should. Got everything back together and the truck is running great

now that is some good news!! Might need a plow for the front of that beast to help the city clear streets!! lol damn pile of snow this year.

i know what you mean. Everything around edmonton has harden. So it feels like im going off roading when i go through a intersection or change lanes. Hope i dont blow a strut or something.
