I have a lead foot left over from the muscle car era in the 1970's and I live on a 16 mile long winding canyon road (Malibu, Ca) and I average 85 MPH on the 35 MPH rated road:) It's fun but expensive :rock::burnout:

Thanks! Many people in other forums have said to check this too as this can be easily missed with a visual inspection and explains the weird slapping and knocking noises that come when I let off the gas.

OK, I feel stupid now, can the sleeves be replaced on these 8.3L engines? Where do I buy sleeve's, rings and parts for these at the best pricing?

I have 40,000 miles on my truck and have been through 22 tires at a cost of $4500.00
The main problem is that the treads are not deep enough. The treads are only 3/8" deep while on other tires they are 1/2" to 5/8" deep. Off road tires would last longer.

Hi all, I need advice.
I have a 2005 SRT10 Ram with 40,000 miles on it.
Started making rapid tapping sounds but not all the time.
Engine light is on.
Error codes are:
A. #1 cylinfer missfiring
B. O2 sensor
