Hello all!
I have one intake manifold that was done up for DC Performance that I have been sitting on for over a year and I want to move it.
For those who don't know about this manifold already this is fully hand ported in both the runners and plenum, shaped for much improved airflow...
DC Performance and I will be working this out in the coming week or so. I will say that at this point, there are no cores available for swaps, and even if we did get some I would expect that the core fee would be significantly more than the cost of the ported and coated manifold. We have...
No offense taken and I appreciate the input. I agree that there will always be factors to take into consideration if even it was at the same track. Baro pressures and weather can create abnormal and inaccurate results too, and I am well aware of this.
I was just asked by Lyle to further...
So I just got off the phone with Lyle at DC Performance and he was giddy as a school girl over the track results. He stated that he ran through a few calculations from his Motec training back when he was with Edelbrock. Based on the figures from that training he was told that for every MPH...
Burnsville offroad does some wicked builds for sure. And the cool thing is, they are only 25mi away from me so I can swing by and drool any time I want ;P
DC Performance and I will be continuing testing and because the net power on the dyno wasn't what was expected (although the 'ram' effect is obvious in trainman's results at the track) we will be seeking out a more robust platform to test on. We haven't solidified anything yet, but think about a...
Great results Trainman! Keep up the good times!
I'm glad that the intake is shinning more than what the dyno showed initially  Although I never had any doubts.
Get that suspension dialed in and get back to your 1.7 60's and you'll be golden.
We are still in testing and nothing is solid at this point, but I will say that when they are available DC Performance will be selling them on here. Expect pricing to be in the ~$1000-1200 range without core.
We have gone head to head with EH or even CNC porting and always come out on top...
Again, it is possible to do it better than EH by hand.... For the entire manifold.... not just port matching. After all, hand porting does offer better shape control than EH.
