    Upper n Lower Bushing Removal

I've done poly a-arm bushings on other cars before and have always had the best results using a small burns-o-matic torch. This method is used for poly bushings where the outer sleeve stays in the a-arm and is reused. Here's how I do it: 1. Remove the a-arm from the vehicle 2. Use the...

    Wide tires

I thought you might find this useful: http://www.rims-n-tires.com/rt_specs.jsp You can add in tire size, rim width, and offset. It's the best tire size calculator that I've found.:D

    T. Boone Pickens Virtual March on Washington

FYI: The "New Energy Army" created by T. Boone Pickens is conducting a virtual march on Washington to encourage our government leaders to take action to reduce our dependence on foreign oil. The march will be happening from April 1-3. I'd like to invite everyone to take a look at this website...

Rear sway bar on 06 QC

That seems like a fair price, now I need to speak with the Financial Planning Dept. and see if I can come up with enough scratch to get one.:D (That and I still want to get a pair of your front coils too...;) )

Rear sway bar on 06 QC

Here are some pics I found showing the different ways that the Hellwig and Belltech bars mount: 1st pic is Hellwig 2nd pic is Belltech mounting at axle 3rd pic is Belltech mounting at frame

Rear sway bar on 06 QC

I like the way the Belltech's links face towards the front of the axle and bolt to a bracket on the frame. This apparently causes less interference problems with the exhaust and spare tire. Also the bar itself mounts to existing brackets on the axle very securely. The Hellwig bar's links...

    Hood scoop grill removal question

Yah, I know, it was kind of a stupid question. I just wondered if an excessive amount of water would be getting in after removing the grill and if anyone had any thoughts on it. I think we can say, judging by the responses that it won't make a noticeable difference.

    Hood scoop grill removal question

Have any of you that have removed your hood scoop grill noticed any problems if you drive the truck in a heavy rain (or park the truck outside during a heavy rain)? Is there a problem with water puddling on the top of the upper intake or getting in and causing any other problems? I'm thinking...

Is this a rare truck?: Silver '06 RC

That's a good point, it's too bad that there aren't more detailed photos in the ad. So is anyone thinkin' of picking this truck up--it looks like a chance to own a super rare version.

For those with visual emissions inspections . . .

You better act quickly if you want these because my guess is that this company will not be around for very long. I bet some gov't agency will bust these guys for trying to defraud the smog laws. The maximum fine here in Cali for tampering with emissions equipment is something ridiculous like...

Is this a rare truck?: Silver '06 RC

I have the spread sheet too, the silver models on it are supposed to have gone to "other markets" as exports. Perhaps this one was scheduled to be exported and then somehow was sold domestically? This could be the only 2006 silver regular cab sold domestically...:dontknow:
