The accent comes off with little effort. You could have it dipped and glue it back on.

I filled my shifter ball with silicone and screwed it back on. Let it set a day and the noise was dramatically reduced. I'm using an aftermarket ball, kind of like a billiards ball.

Just trade it in. Dealers deal with people who are underwater in their current car all the time. If your credit blows, then that may be the real issue.

Just roll the price of shipping into the price of the item and offer "free shipping". ;) I still like my JTS PS lines, Oil cooler lines, shifter (both of them), plug wires, etc. and the customer service was always first rate. Limited production vehicle supported by small independent shops...
