would you trade your truck for a JGC SRT8?

here's the stipulation:
they run the same times (mid 12's)
i have no kids, so the issue is not family based
i do pull a trailer every now and again, but i have another v8 jeep
i've had my truck 4 1/2 years now, and will have to throw the "big bucks" to take a step into awesome land
it's not about the money, that has no bearing on the choice at all.

just trying to get other ideas on this...

i think i've already made up my mind, but this is an opinion poll...

so let the opinions fly... tell the truth (just keep it clean;))

What year is said Jeep?

years are any 06-10... i actually like the interior of the 06/07 because it's lighter...

and i know there were a few bugs, but all the ones i'm looking at have the chrysler 100k warranty...

not only that, but i doubt this will be a long term ride... maybe a few years at best...

hell, the truck's the longest i've EVER had something... course... i never totalled it, either:D

Idk man the new ones are pretty. Badass but I would prob get anew 300c srt8 if I was to get another srt. Those things are mean as hell.

cars are out of the equation...

unless something big happens... in which case it'll be a viper car... but i don't see that happening... at least until next year... unless the semiconductor industry takes a BIG upswing before christmas... which is possible...

Stock Jeep SRT8 running mid 12's. The planets would have to align perfectly.
Don't do it. Build the motor, slap a SC on it and enjoy it for another 100,000 miles.
Trade Alisha's jeep for it, and be king shit in ur neighborhood.

agreed

When I have my big cookout, come down bro. take a ride in my friends jeep.

runs in the 10's supercharged few things on it, no internals.

If the jeeps were cheaper at the time, I would of bought 1 of those.

i'm really just wondering what, if anything, i'll like... i don't want to regret the decision in 2 months...

i think i wanna stay srt, and the challengers/chargers are too fat... if i get a car... it'll be something crazy stoopid and impractical... like a lotus elise/exige, maybe an older esprit turbo...

also looking at a cayenne turbo or RR Sport S/C... only the turbo is faster, the RR isn't...

then there's the maserati coupe' or cambriocorsa... don't know if i want the maintenance headache...

then there's also the supra/300TT/3000GT VR4(which i've had)/silvia/240 crowd... the non-rice versions...

i've been looking at A LOTTTTTT of stuff lately...

just really wanted to get an idea what you guys thought about the cherokee...

Great link ya got there. You have to sign up to view it :aetsch:

sorry... didn't know... or forgot... it's black...

Regretfuly I have to put my Black 2007 Jeep SRT-8 up for sale. I am only selling because I just completed
a project car and it is not practical to have three vehicles. I would rather sell my Jeep than
not drive it and just have it sit in the garage. I purchased this Jeep a little over a year and a half ago
from a Jeep dealer. I purchased it certified pre-owned and opted for the factory extended bumper to bumper warranty.
This warranty covers everything that a normal factory warranty covers up to 80k miles. Yes this warranty is transferable
to the next owner of the Jeep (there is $100 deductable for any work performed under warranty).
I purchased the Jeep as the second owner with 37,900 miles and have about 49,000 on it now.
This SRT came from the factory with every available option except for the Kicker sub woofer. It has the
in dash navigation, rear flip down DVD player, heated seats, auto wipers, auto high beam, power driver
and passenger seats, ect. Along with all that was supplied from the factory I also added
a few tasteful modifications to the Jeep which consist of converting
the front end to the 2008-2010 style SRT8s. The reason for this is that the 06 and 07 SRTs were
not offered with Xennon headlights from the factory. In order to use the 2010 OEM Xennon headlights you need
to change the front bumper, grill, headlights, and bumper support. Let me tell you it is PERFECT, I spared no cost
using all OEM parts. From the outside you cant tell if its a 2007 or a 2010!!! I also installed Xennon fog lights that
match the factory color perfectly, I had the front windows professionaly tinted that match the rear factory tint, Borla-S exhaust,
installed the BWoody custom painted 4" cold air intake, R1 Concept Premium cross drilled/slotted rotors with Stoptech pads, 180 degree thermostadt, BWoody Road Magnet
lowering springs, BWoody end links, brand new OEM SRT8 wheels with not one scratch and brand new
Vredstien tires, also have the rear fog light harness that enables the rear bumper lights to function.
Last but not least I have a Diablo Predator with a custom tune from Johan (best tuner for these trucks).
(JL Audio Speaker and Amp do NOT come with vehicle)
I have only put about 5k miles max on truck since everything was done. I have ALL the original parts including
the front bumper and everything. If anyone is interested in a stock truck let me know and Im sure we can work
out a lower price. Truck is located in north Jersey. If you would like to set up an appointment to see/drive the
Jeep or have any other questions please feel free to Email on here, call, or text me. Truck is being sold as local pick up only. I will be willing to ship at buyers
expense (buyer would need to make all arangements). Vehicle is being sold as is.
PRICE DROP TO $28,000

If you "think" your going to regret it in a couple months, then your not ready to sell. Hold on to your truck.

In my case, the only time I regret selling is when I have to run to Lowes or Home Depot. That regret I will get over.
