i don't care what one is faster. cars have much more important quality's unless they are race cars. .5 seconds is not noticeable. and the caddy is a POS. look at build quality alone, the sound the car makes when you move in it. the way it drives. its really no better then a cobalt.
 
ive been in a M3 a M5 and a 640, all were noiser than my caddy
 
Had a x5 and it broke more parts then all of my other vehicles combined. It was nice to look at but a complete piece of shit to keep it on the road in one piece.
 
I just had a test drive in a 2011 CTS V Coupe 6 speed........Amazing, I loved it! I think I'll be putting my 2006 GTO up for sale......I seriously think a CTS V Coupe will be my next purchase. Don't worry I'm keeping the SRT10.

Lucky, sounds like alot of fun. I sat in a couple last week lookin for a truck at the local dealership. fits like a glove.


I would love to have a V sedan. And as a weekend warrior you can still have a usable ride to get the most out of it at those times.


Plus as stated, its just another level or two above the Mustang. i say the choice is clear and a good decision was made:rock::rock::rock:
 
I'm not even going to read through the responses because hands down a CTS-V is a WAAAY better choice than some pos stang regardless what mods you add... :dontknow:Unless we're talking a '03 or '04 Cobra.

Not bad at all, but I'm sure that its going to fetch somewhere north of $70k. Not sure I'm willing to pay that much for a stang.

I only read the OP but if it were me I wouldnt even consider a 5.0 if I could afford a '09+ CTSV, but if you were looking at pre '09's Id get the 5.0.
 
CTS-V all the way. Or how about the new ZL-1 Camaro a few more HP and lighter then a V but not as classy. The V is the ultimate sleeper car.
