Trade Throttle body JTSVenom for BBK or ?

Hi , i have a few 1000miles on the JTSVP SERIES BILLET ALUMINUM THROTTLE BODY on my truck , its good , but i like to try something else.
So if u have a BBK or some other than stock throttle body for our trucks , giv me a message.

I like the mono blade set up have had a x-metal and now have a roe. My roe took a bit to get right.
 
I have a BBK myself. My opinion anything with a larger opening then the stock is better. Some people say TB's don't do anything, I disagree. You can feel the difference in the midrange to the top end.
 
yes , but u also have idle hanging issues , just like me with the JTSVenom TB.
I have worked on it for months , everytime idle keeps hanging at idle with those fkin TB's.
I must say that it realy makes better flow , but i hear alot of people with idle hanging.
That's what u get with afthermarket , not Always better in general...
So if someone want to trade and wanna try sovle the problem with idle hanging , i will trade for one that doesnt hang.
 
The relationship between the IAC and the air coming through the throttle body is very touchy.

Play with the throttle body hex-screw adjustment in very small increments until they can get along and your idle "hanging" will go away eventually, when you find the sweet spot.

Unless of course the throttle blades are physically hanging up for some reason.
That's another issue.

Yes he did. But your truck was demon-possessed and did NOT respond anywhere close to normal.

SO...if you can't fix it with the curb-idle adjustment, all you can do is change the rules in the tune to make it behave!

I found that the return spring was weak.wouldn't sit back on the screw.... I added a spring and the pulsing idle is all gone. :)
 
Most don't have return spring clocked correctly and therefore provides little return pressure. Clock/tension spring correctly. Many of these TBs aren't clearances for blades correctly as well.
