Spark plugs

I'd go with the NGK's , I have not had luck with the Chapions ,
 
I use the E3 plugs. It did make a minor difference on mine. gained about 2/10th a gallon on MPG.
 
Indexing works.
Point the electrode between 10 and 2 o'clock (toward the Intake Manifold) which is ideal.
I don't like using washers for this.
If the Electrode is pointing down, try another plug until it gets the orientation right (or close).
Don't use thread lube as it works as a heat insulator.
Use a torque wrench to complete as torqued values affect heat transfer.

My 3 cents.
