Ok, decided that exhaust MUST be the first mod that has to be done. What do you gentlemen recommend? Long or short?:dontknow:

How do the Mopar header compare some of the others out there?

My chariot is a 06 RC.

thanks is advance!

i would vote for anything stainless & long tube:rock:

I havent changed them on my 10 yet but I put long on my hemi because they make alot more power then short or mid, I would think thye would do the same for the 10

I have always argued that the power diff between the short tubes and longs dont support the price difference.....plus the Bassani shorties look badazz in the engine bay..............but now if I had to do it over I would get the longs and make sure they had the Jet hot coating...........the shorties just make too much heat under the hood......Mopars are fine...

I put shorties on mine and like TNViper said not much bang for the buck. Plenty of bling though. The Bassani look crazy good in there. If I was to do it again I would probably go with long tubes.

i have Mopar Long Tubes - you can feel the diff and hear it too :D

If I get long headers do I need to modify the rest of my factory exhaust too? I want to do a full exhaust system but can't afford to do the entire exhaust all once. Should I maybe do exhaust first, them headers and mids? What do you guys think the best. Sequence of exhaust would be?

Iv'e been jsut waiting for someone to take off there B&B's for whatever reason and sell them for a good deal! B&B's are the only way i'm going!

Good luck I have only ever seen a few long tube set ups to go cheap except for the mopar headers that were sold on ebay:D :D :D

Loved my Bellanger lt's. Looked and sounded great. You have to get the headers and mids together, they will bolt to the factory exhaust.

If $$$ are tight, I'd work from the rear forward. Do the Cat back first, then save for the headers and mids.

for the most power and bang for the buck just do the catless mids... These will make more power then just replacing the exhaust manifolds with headers

I was looking for Mopar long tube headers and the website says they are only for '04's and 05's, do they not exist for '06's? Is there even a difference between them except for the body style and interior? :dontknow:

nto sure if there are really too many sets of mopar long tubes left:dontknow:

some guy on ebay bought up the last sets and they are all sold, probably only ones avaialble are the ones folks have instock, I could be wrong but check with dragon and or mopar connection, they could tell ya for sure, but nto sure 100% on06 models

You will get more HP by getting catless mid pipes and a catback than doing just headers. The fastest truck for almost 3 years had factory manifolds. I've got shorties because I like the look and every 4 years I need to pass emissions and I can just bolt my cats back in. 06 frames are different so I don't know if 04/05 long tubes will fit.
