    2004 Ram From Hell Trade/Sell

Thanks. We'll see how things go, but it was a tough choice between my numbers matching '68 Charger R/T and the truck. Getting back into boating, though. I've always loved speed on water. Aw, who am I kidding. I'm just a sucker for speed in general. ;)

    2004 Ram From Hell Trade/Sell

As is so typical of getting to the end of such a long project, the time comes to do something else. There is a very long list of mods, and I'm happy to go over all that was done to the truck with interested persons. There is also a drag package for this truck (cage, seat, wheels, harness...

    Congrats RamFromHell- VTCOA Oct TOTM

Thank you! This truck has spent so much of it's time "in progress" that it's not even funny! I'm looking forward to some stick time this summer, and head to a few shows!:burnout::rock:

gen 2 intake vs gen 3?

I had given that some serious thought when I built my current engine. I had ordered up a mock-up engine from Arrow Racing Engines just to try it out, in fact. In the end I opted for the cheaper solution, having Hogans build a new one. :p It as Ronnie said, it bolts right up. The linkage to...

    5 Link w/ Coil-overs

Time to quit being bone stock. Lower the ride height so your center of gravity height is lower, then add a Helwig rear sway bar. This gets rid of the majority of that "oh crap" feeling when you change lanes at high speed, and makes the truck much more manageable in the corners. .

    Ram From Hell Paintwork

Yeah, right? My paint guy about slapped me when I talked about changing colors. He'd already bought and started shooting some of the red. :p Next time. .

That would be quite different! I came close to repainting the red in some new PPG color like hellfire or diablo or some such. Saw it on one of the Speed channels. Very nice red, though. .

    Rear Wheel Well Liners

If they do rub, I might suggest an alternative to cutting portions out where the tires rub. Wait until the tires have touched the liners so you can see where the clearance issue is, then take a heat gun to the liner and work the material to create more clearance at the point(s) of contact...

Factory Parts, Aftermarket Parts, Racing Gear

I'm not sure where to say it "started", really. I sent him my stock AEM to be modified, and ordered the harness more than a year before tuning began, as I recall. Then there was another wait for Justin to build the Procharger, another wait for the bigger injectors that were needed, and another...

At this point, not very high. There is more work involved to install the other system, and John is really difficult to get scheduled with. I've had enough down time to last me a while! ;) .

    Ram From Hell Paintwork

You know, I have given very serious thought to that. I'm doing that for my Tahoe, but it's a dark color all over. In all of the pix of lighter-colored trucks, the all-black look just seems too dull and heavy. It looks sinister, yes, but IMHO it's just not the most appealing look on the truck...

    Ram From Hell Paintwork

Several times. I was just over 12 on my best run. Not to make ANY excuses, but: Considering the loss of more than a 10th of a second between my sloppy shifts, some wheel spin (even with hot slicks), having 200# of tools, jack, and street wheels in the back (nobody with me to watch my...

    Ram From Hell Paintwork

Yeah, I'm getting close. Drivetrain mods are somewhere in the 45-50 range. Paintwork would have been about 7-8, had it not been for some horse trading. Everything else adds up to only 15-16, I'd say. For having purchased new though, I have long since passed the original price I paid for the...

    Ram From Hell Paintwork

Thanks for all of the positive comments, guys! I'm looking forward to doing a few things over the next several months to clean up some of the under-hood areas and maybe add a little more appeal to the interior. It should be a blast going to some car shows around here this next spring...
