    Go with either the B&M shifter or Garys shifter. Gary's shifter is better but a bit more noise. The B&M is much better than stock and good as a daily driver. IMO.

    I have the B&M and used the OE plastice/rubber spacer between the upper and lower sticks and wrapped tennis grip tape aroung them both and no noise at all.

    Thanks. So what gear ratio is stock on the 05 RC. I find that I get to redline too quick in first...would a lower gear help me by going to a taller tire?

    UTQG Treadwear ratings are not universal. The can not be compared across brands. Also, a tire that has a 500 would last 5 times as long as a tire that has a 100 rating.

    The PCM is the Powertrain Control Module...it is located in the enginbay pass. side at the fire wall. You can buy a new one and have it "flashed" (reprogrammed) or send your OE one in for them to Flash that. I know that DC performance...a vendor her has a new handheld programmer that you can...

    It helps if u get the PCM flashed. Install is a PITA due to one "hidden" bolt and a very soft aluminum cast housing.
