    Wide tires

Are you sure about this? It was my understanding that the speedo sensor is located in the transmission and thus is unaffected by gear or tire size changes. I'm pretty sure all the HEMI guys that are swapping over to 4.56 gears don't have to worry about recalibrating their speedo's. Can anyone...

    Wide tires

His tires must be 325/50/22. I found this on the Toyo homepage: http://marktg.toyotires.com/file/35.pdf It looks like Toyo makes a Proxes S/T and a Proxes S/T II It appears that the 325 size is only available on the original Proxes S/T, so they may not be available much longer if Toyo is...

    E-85 Fuel and FI Engines...

Oh don't get me wrong:) , I know that this would be more than a bolt on or simple tuning deal. This conversion would benefit those running a supercharger, turbo(s), or those with modified internals running higher compression ratios and forged pistons. This mod, if done properly, could benefit...

    E-85 Fuel and FI Engines...

I think that methanol has the air/fuel ratios that you're talking about here. I'll do some more research and see what I can turn up on this. EDIT: I found a website by a guy that drag races (and sells) carb'ed E85 setups. It's got some good information on it about using E85 to replace 110...

    Ordering an 09 Viper

I thought you guys might like to see this (sorry if it's a repost): Viper ACR vs. Corvette ZR1 at the Nürburgring in split-screen http://www.zimbio.com/2009+Corvette+ZR1/articles/94/Cool+Nurburgring+split+screen+between+Viper I...I think I just wet myself a little. Yep...yep...I...

    E-85 Fuel and FI Engines...

I started a thread a few months ago about the possibility of using an SCT tuner (or similar method) to reprogram the computer to compensate for the different air/fuel ratio that would enable us to run E85. The thread never really got much traction, so to speak. I would think that the FI guys...

    STINKERS QUAD CAB DROP KIT!!!!

Hey amtrucker, thanks for the review on the kit. Your truck looks outstanding! It's got the perfect ride height nailed. I'm with you on liking the slight rake--gives it a good stance. More of a performance look than a low rider look.:burnout: Oh, and thanks to Stinker for all of the...

    Which Tires to buy?

Mine had the Nittos on it when I bought it. I've been happy with them as far as wear and handling. No complaints, not noisy, stick well. However, they are the only tires I've experienced on these trucks.

    STINKERS QUAD CAB DROP KIT!!!!

Can you tell us a little more about the ride and handling? Does the ride seem stiffer than stock? How does it corner versus stock? Any tire rubbing in front when going over things like speed bumps or pot holes? What's the low down? (sorry, bad pun):)

BBK throttle body for Stock trucks

Are we talking about an IAC or Idle Air Control valve here? The valve that allows air to pass by the throttle blade to control the idle speed/quality. I haven't heard of an Automatic Idle Speed motor. Not trying to pick on anyone, just asking for clarification's sake.:)

'08 Viper flips at NOPI drift show

Yeah, I agree about drifting. It's kinda like the automotive equivalent of synchronized swimming.:dontknow:

    Opinions.... on stripes.....

Who did you order it through? I'd like to see what else they have available. I think it's a great way of making your vehicle unique, and I like the idea of being able to change it when/if you get sick of it--no harm, no foul.:D

    recieved Stinker's QC springs

The preliminary pic looks great Stinker. Looks like a good ride height both in front and back. Any new news, what's the next step? Any more teaser pics or feedback from road testing?:D

    Opinions.... on stripes.....

I think they might look pretty good. Although personally I would probably go with a gray or maybe flat gray color. I don't really like the simulated carbon fiber look, reminds me of a '70's Ford Country Squire station wagon with simulated wood grain vinyl down the side. But really who cares...

    Brakes Brakes Brakes

If your truck is an '05 or '06 your front brake calipers should look like the ones in the pictures: Getting new calipers, rotors, and pads should cost WAY less than $4000, I think you're gettin' hosed by the stealership. Try pricing them here...

    Brakes Brakes Brakes

I recently posted this on another thread, but anyway, this should clear up who supplied the brakes for our trucks for '05 and '06. It was TRW through their Kelsey-Hayes division not Brembo. Below is a press release that I found when they announced that TRW would be the brake supplier. Press...

    Got a Header Leak

Are the header/manifold gaskets different on the 8.0L engines vs. the 8.3L's?:dontknow: If they are the same, I've had good luck in the past with Remflex header gaskets on other applications (never used them on a Viper motor though). They are very thick graphite and crush down for a good...

Converting from rear leafs to coils

Can you tell me exactly what you mean, (clarify a little)? Lots of rear suspension pieces bolt on, the front mounting plates that hold the front of the leaf spring mounts on a camaro bolt to the body for instance. The shackes bolt on to the rear of the leafs on our trucks. Do you mean that...
