bump:)
Oh, Stinker while I'm thinkin' about it, I understand that when we lower the front of these trucks the bump stop needs to be cut, removed, or replaced. What would you suggest for a new bump stop? Can you name a part number and supplier or is this something that you can supply for...
Just for a frame of reference:
I wonder if they'll bring the Trans Am series back when the new camaro is released? New Challenger vs. New Mustang vs. New Camaro vs. ???
Have you guys seen these? I WILL own one like the green G5/R #77 Tribute car someday--too freakin' cool!

Hey Stinker, I found some functional hood pins for yah to make it legit:

Another one, these guys specialize in high end early mustang stuff, but I'm sure the hood pins won't care what kinda car they're on;) :

Are those powder coated or painted? They look great! I was wanting to get mine powder coated, but if you pulled this off by painting them then I'm going to have to re-think my plan.
I say that if they are a functional mod, then they pass the sniff test. If they are just for bling--then lose 'em.
Oh, and BTW, when is the Challenger getting some turbos?:p Let's vote on that:) ...
I'm skeptical. Notice how on the website they don't tell you exactly how it works. The use phrases like "it re-refines the gasoline". Well, how does it do this, in what way is it "re-refining" the gas. Here is what they say in the FAQ part of the website:

What is the Fitch Fuel...
I'm not sure that these will even work in our trucks yet--I'm just putting it out there to maybe give us more options. As far as GM transmissions being second class, I know I'm going to have rocks thrown at me for saying this but I'm gonna have to disagree with you on that one. I'd put a GM...
Tonight I was flipping through the new Sept.08 issue of Popular Hotrodding and on page 14 there's a write up of a new tranny that Keisler Engineering is putting out. It's based on a GM 4L60E and is made to fit small block, big block, and new Hemi Mopar engines. The big question I have is what...
Any of you forced induction guys gonna help this guy out?:) I haven't had my truck long enough to chime in here really. However, I've noticed from various posts that many seem to be running NGK iridiums or Denso iridiums. As far as fluids I would think Royal Purple, Mobil 1 Synthetic, or...
Why does the factory tune dump fuel into the cylinders during deceleration? One would think that Dodge wouldn't want that since it would probably lower fuel mileage and increase emissions. Is it supposed to increase engine braking or is that just a function of the compression of the air in the...
It's my understanding that O2 sensors should be changed at around 100k miles. As they start to fail they usually make the engine run richer which can cause a lot of carbon build up in the cats and of course give you drop in your gas mileage too. In my experience when they start to fail they...
Very interesting. I thought that you would be able to see the combustion happening more clearly, if that's the right way to put it. I just expected the explosion to be more visible I guess. Now imagine this process happening at 20,000 rpm...
As you probably guessed from my posts above I am planning on just using shackles on the back and then using Stinker's coils on the front. I don't want to screw with a flip kit in the back and I'd like to have a fair amount of suspension travel to maintain good suspension geometry in the front...
Thanks Stinker, I'm really lookin' forward to getting some of these springs. The increased spring rate and the lower ride height sounds perfect to me. I was thinking when I install the new springs that I might start looking at an aftermarket rear sway bar. I figure that the combination of the...
Hey Stinker, I was wondering if you know what the stock spring rate is for the front coils on the quad cab pickups? I think earlier in this thread it was said that the new springs are going to be about 10% stiffer and give a drop of about 1.5 inches (perfect amount of drop for my application)...
I put some shackles on today, now I just need some front coils to drop the front end a little and give it some stance. I prefer a little rake to the truck rather than level. Any news:questionmark: :deadhorse: :p
