I first noticed problems with mine when I was 1000 miles away from home with a car/trailer in tow. When cold it was difficult to get reverse but possible. Once warm it was impossible. I'd have to shut it off before backing. After a clutch swap and a good bench bleeding of the stock...
Try reverse with the engine off. As I was loosing a clutch, I could shut off the engine and it went right in. If it's still hard, could be tranny. If easy (normal), I'd guess something in the clutch system.
This site may be just what I need to get me back in the game. Looks like a lot of great guys made it over here.
