I don't mean to sound like a smart a** here but, after reading all of this it really tells me nothing. Each truck is different based on modification and tuning. Two of the biggest factors involved when burning piston and destroying rings are Air/Fuel ratio and Timing. If you have a truck that is...
Thanks. I contacted Stinker and he asked me to pm FSTJACK about a possible LED bulb solution. If the bulbs become to much of a pain, I will just order entire LED tail light assemblies.
Yea, time to break out the ohm meter. Based on what I see so far I may need a resistor for each bulb. I know how to make it work with a 5 pin flasher but that involves going under the dash = big headache. The LEDs that autolumination.com has are so cool though.
Has anyone accomplished this? I realize LED bulbs draw less, the computer thinks there is a lamp out which creates a fast turn flash and unbalanced voltage in the system. Is there a proven fix for our trucks and how?
SCT = A wideband to monitor A/F is a must. This is my first post here, I bought an 04 RC a few months ago and aggressive modding has started already. I sold my 550hp Neon SRT-4, it was a fun build and a fun car.
