I only use a glaze when I am too lazy to buff out any fine scratches. As Muzzy said...a glaze is typically followed by a wax of some sort. A Glaze (or filler) can only reduce the appearance of fine scratches.

I believe the block is different on a Quad Cab due to the extra metal needed to attached the larger tranmission (auto), at least that is what Arrow Racing told me regarding my rebuild. I was going to buy a used RC motor and they said I would have trouble attaching the automatic.
