What are you going to do with it? Commuting, Its fine...I wouldnt tow anything significant with it on a regular basis.

The stock mids not only have 4 cats (not truly 4 but more or less) but also has excessive bends and the ID if I remember is around 2 5/8". I picked up a set of B&B mids w/HF cats for around $500. They were at least a 1/4" larger ID and had significantly less bends (better flow). My truck...

I had a 518rwhp dyno run but the last run I have on paper is in the 512 range. I will have to dig up some files but can honestly post these numbers. I believe 535 is the highest I have seen from Vipertruck 2933 and those are true numbers.

I appreciate all of the comments ;) I really do...it has been hard for me to post the truck as I have driven it almost everyday for 3 years. Anyway, it does have some wear and tear as a daily driver and I am not into bartering, so the price is pretty firm. I really dont want to sell it but...

Everyone is too afraid to ride with me...so no complaints. :D I have had the same issue and discussed it with the local Viper Tech, he unofficially informed me it was a known issue with no fix. Officially there isnt a problem and any difference in temperatures meet mfg. specs. :dontknow: :(

Most exhaust shops wont cut them out at least not 'officially'. You can purchase bolt on catless mids or with HF cats. I have B&B mids with HF's, 20rwhp and 30ft lbs increase.

If you want to tow and run the quarter..get the 5.9 If you want to 'drive' get a RC, throw on a hitch, upgrade the hydrolics, have fun :D I have seen a long list of 5.9's run 11's and 12's.....1000+ ft lbs = fun ;)

I used to hit VIR in my truck a couple of times a year. It depends on the autocross how much prep you have to do compared to a road course. My check list: Flush and replace break fluid - Motul 600 Check pads, bring an extra set Check tires for wear and damage - Check tire pressure...
