    Lots of new parts

After almost 3 months of waiting, I got all my goodies from Justing and Tony put on. The list :D : JMB Electric fan, radiator pipes, and callipers all powdercoated orange. Flawless work as usual. Justin's the man. Accidentally forgot to send some fittings for the new powersteering hose...

    Throwing codes-truck won't start

Went through and didn't find any bad grounds. Doesn't mean I didn't miss one though. I changed out the ASD fuse and she started up and ran just fine. Guess I'll see if it happens again.:dontknow: Thanks Prof.

    Throwing codes-truck won't start

So I was taking my truck to get aligned after getting a bunch of stuff done to it to include Justin's electric fan. It ran just fine on the way to the alignment shop, but when I went to pick it up, I started it up then it died after idling for a few seconds. Now it won't turn over and is...

Question about Driving the SRT 10 in snow?

Lucky you (heavy sarcarsm)! I've been stationed here in Cheyenne for about 5.5 years now. There're going to be lots of weeks during the winter you won't be able to take the 10 out at all. Usually, the "big" snows don't come until Feb-Mar. This year we got snow at the end of May. It'll be...

    Motul 300V oil

I just changed the oil in my Triumph for the first time and used Motul 300V. That stuff looks like thick anti-freeze! Never seen neon green oil before, but it sure is easy to see on the dipstick. If it wasn't $15/qt, I'd put it in the 10.

    Air Force....

Unless they're looking at you seriously to play ball, then you need to be 3.9-4.0. Your recommendations can pull a lot of weight too though. And if you're hellbent on going to USAFA and don't get in right out of school, you can enlist and apply once you get to your first base. They have a...

    Air Force....

Can't deny it. Our basic training was a joke. I was in way worse shape when I finished than I was when I got there. Used to only be 6 weeks but they just upped it to 9. Still a joke though. But it's always funny when I get other service guys in my clinic and they see how chill it is...

Personally, I say it's a tremendous opportunity. The education is one of the best you'll get plus you'll graduate with a guaranteed, good paying job and zero debt. Oh, and Colorado Springs rocks.

    Air Force....

That's the truth! It's usually whatever you make of it, but the missiles career is all nukes and the life just blows. Nothing but exercises for stuff that probably will never happen.

    Air Force....

The community college is the Academy Prep school. They send guys there that don't quite have high enough grades but score high in other areas. You do a year or two there and then finish up at the actual AF Academy. I know a lot of guys that graduated there and all of them say it's a really...

I start Pararescue training next week. I ordered all that stuff last week then found out yesterday I got a short notice class date. Anybody want to drive my truck around for two months? :D

    Going Pararescue

First 8 weeks is kind of like BUDS for the SEALs but the days are more structured. Tons of swimming and running. I'll drown a few times which is hard to look forward to. Builds character right? If I pass all the run and swim evals and the drown-proofing stuff then it's off to paramedic...
