Up on the county ballot is an ammendment for preserving the mangroves and conservation land areas; also offering tax exemption for same. Meanwhile, they are chopping up MORE orange groves just down the street from us. Then people b!*ch about wildlife disturbing their brand new housing...

Hopefully this time will fix it. You got our number if you need to vent-I'm sure Alex told ya I went thru the same thing when we first got married. You just don't expect the "in SICKNESS and health" part of your vows to come up so soon.

Great post!....IMO, more people need to get their head out of their butt and get a perspective on what is going on around us.

I hope everyone is spared from the fires....I can't even imagine being so close to it and not be able to do anything. Hats off to our firefighters out there(and everywhere for that matter)

Great post! It seems to get worse every day also....had a handful of library books trying to get in the door(we all know how fast I am:o ) a kid walked out and slammed the door shut in my face; maybe I'm old-fashioned, but what ever happened to holding the door open for someone?:dontknow:

You for sure got bit by something...looks like a little cellulitis around the area...warm to touch, tender, increased redness....you need to see the MD just to be safe. Let us know how it turns out. Dawn

It was 24 years ago, and I had a 1978 Newport that was taxi-cab yellow! But I could fit about 10-12 of my friends in "the beast" and chipped in 1$ a piece for gas...got us a lot of cruise time!:marchmellow: The backseat could comfortably hold 2 people horizo...ehr...sitting up at arm's length...
