its fairly simple just drop the pan and i think its 4 screws and 1 connector to replace it. but as i said i had my local mechanic do it much simpler to use a lift and my mechanic doesn't charge me an arm and a leg so usually go that route.
honestly not sure but i had a burnt wire and when we pulled intake 1 of the pins on one of the coil packs was smoked black so i was replacing them and while at it i upgraded which is a stronger spark. and same with the solenoid i was getting the hunt in the tranny and that stopped it
i got wires and coil and the solenoid from tony. as far as install i have a local mechanic that treats me great i just go there and he barly charges me anything even though i bring my own parts. the hardest thing is the damn wires and coil packs. i upgraded when i did mine to the heavier wires...
my last trip in my qc from NY to tx and back i averaged 17.6 computer read 17.5 i got 17.6 doing the math on fuel spent for the miles traveled. so pretty close and mine was just tuned up before trip oil change replaced spark plugs wires and coils since i had 1 spot burnt on one of the coils...

lol well mine is simple enough to send out its not installed yet i just tapped the 5/6 pin wires in to test it and see how it looked so we will get it figured out i will take mine and put it back in the box lol

silly question have you made sure you didnt hit the peddle movement switch? i have done that once with my knee and all the way down has very little peddle movement and you cant depress all the way. just a thought
most of the cai's with the exception of jmb's have been shown to decrease or make no difference at all. drop in filter gains more than most of the intakes except jmb's
if its doing the 1-2-1-2-3-2 hunt garbage more than likely its the governor in it. these trannies are known for issues with it mine started that and i went to an after market one through jtsvp and i haven't had the issue since.
