My current theory is the Boost control actuator at the rear of the compressor. The stock cam would have stock vacuum figures, but I have since put in a Com Coupe Cam which ideas rather low and with a low idle vacuum... there is a possiblity that the actuator is open when she needs to be closed...

all i know is no one should ever use E3 spark plugs (in my opinion and experience) in an expensive/high performance/boosted engine...EVER. All but one of my plugs grenaded.
