    I was thinking an aluminum bed would shave a bunch of weight... and moving the battery to the bed would move the weight the right direction.     Thats what I was thinking... I would love to get my truck around 4500pds.... People around here drive 350 s-10's and L's and stuff. I just wanna compete, ya know? Taking out all the wheel liners might save 50pds... Has anyone taken off the overload springs on the leafs?
