Never heard of burning that much oil before or that bulletin. Guess my motors have never had these problems. We have 4 Dodges made after 1990 and 3 others built before than and have never had oil loss problems. Guess every motor is different.

Can you post where you found this spec? And I don't know about you but my truck takes 8.5 quarts of oil not 5.

If you didn't received a cover you should have received either a voucher for other Mopar accessory or a discount off your truck. However, if you didn't received that at the time of purchase there is nothing you can do now 8 years later.
