Block, crank, pistons, rods??? Oil pan? Bone stock?

What happens if you "blip" the throttle? Does the idle settle back down? Could be a sticking butterfly valve, could be a sticky IAC valve, could be a faulty TPS sensor... Are all those sensors OEM from the factory, or have they been replaced before?

Whichever one you decide to go with, seriously consider a T56 swap. It completely changes the truck from a good truck to an amazing truck. I have loved my 05 though. The 06 looks more aggressive in a way.
