I will send an Invoice, 30 days net, with the understanding of a 52% interest penalty for delinquent payment(s). The 52% is what I was charged (Income Tax) when I was working and it sounded like such a fair amount, I thought I should charge it back!

Looking info on a battery disconnect switch

I It can get confusing. But Wifey, with the lid off you are already 1/2 way there. Go ahead, swap some fuses around and see what happens. It's the only way to know for sure.

Looking info on a battery disconnect switch

Right next to the battery there is a (mysterious) black box with a plastic "nut" on top. Take the nut/lid off and you will be witness to a rainbow of fuses for your enjoyment. The Relays are black and boring though, so don't expect much out of those.

Looking info on a battery disconnect switch

Stock alternators produce 130-135 amps (about the same as a home welder), and the stock battery 750 amps, cold cranking. So, even the $25 Sunny Dong Extreme may fall woefully short of expectations.

As long as you stay away from the 20 dollar ones made by Sunny Dong, you should be just fine.

Looking info on a battery disconnect switch

It's just an interrupt switch. When all is well, there is a minor battery draw from the clock. So the switch can easily handle that without arcing. Don't buy the cheapest one and life will be wonderful. If it does snap/sizzle when switching, you need to locate the draw anyway.

That crap is quite flammable and it's best to keep it away from the combustion chambers as much as possible with a well-designed catch-can. Definitely helps maintain the pricey octane we pay for instead of dropping it 2 to 3 points with light-end vapours.

Pulling the Intake isn't too bad and I'm used to it now. New coils, new wires the last time... Working on the new stuff, by comparison, makes changing coils/wires on an 8.3 incredibly easy. My decision to sell is real.
