NEW SRT RUMBLE BEE TRUCK (2027)

I drove by a work crew that were weed whacking in and around a city park. The Gas-Powered Honda 2500 "Jenny" was running on the tailgate charging their batteries, so they could save the planet with their battery-powered whackers by reducing the carbon footprint. (?)

NEW SRT RUMBLE BEE TRUCK (2027)

Sites that are topic specific like this one have the potential to be very useful. I guess YouTube videos are easier to search, but that doesn't automatically make the info right. At least here, specific things can be questioned and argued about, which is normal. Some of the old topics on...

NEW SRT RUMBLE BEE TRUCK (2027)

Agreed. Too bad there aren't any active larger projects on the go or being posted. I enjoyed Kiwi's, as there was a common thread with the parts used. I'm still surprised he found a set of Strikers. I got asked about them for a few years after they were discontinued.

NEW SRT RUMBLE BEE TRUCK (2027)

I looked it up at a Library (remember those?) years ago, and its called Conjugate Aurora and is a real thing due to the way charged particles interact in a magnetic field. More useless trivia that almost nobody cares about. Particularly on an SRT-10 Forum. If I had to guess, I'd say we strayed...

Good call. Had me stumped. We just call them "Garage Door Openers".

NEW SRT RUMBLE BEE TRUCK (2027)

CAUTION: ANOTHER LONG POST Yes it's great to start them from time to time if even to change which springs have a full-lift load on them. Not sure what a gene is..snow shovel, snow blower, leaf/snow blower, a kid named Gene .. under the bench??!! We didn't get much snow last winter so maybe it...

NEW SRT RUMBLE BEE TRUCK (2027)

No not much per year and except for when it was down nearly a year with tranny troubles and waiting on the u.s. machine shop for engine stuff, it's been available for "entertainment purposes". They sure become a different animal once they've been "Strikerized". 797 on the engine dyno for a...

NEW SRT RUMBLE BEE TRUCK (2027)

$68,800 seemed like quite a bit to drop back in 2005 for the old SRT. Back then the QC was 5 grand more than the Reg Cab, but I wanted the auto and extra seating. $68,800 doesn't buy anything too fancy today in a 1/2 ton truck.

NEW SRT RUMBLE BEE TRUCK (2027)

Not bad, thanks. We are flipped and entering warmer weather here for sure, with the first squadron of mosquitoes spotted yesterday. 27C Wifey might point out there shouldn't be an "e" in mosquitoes, like the "e" in potatoes, but I have to leave that one alone. How are you making out? I know you...

It finally dawned on me... The new SRT Rumblebee looks like a 2026 Toyota Tundra.

They advertise the GM 48RE transmission is for sale. (GM never made a 48RE Transmission)

    06 QC Trans Replacement

Does your engine have any power mods? If it is something basic (like headers) a stock reman. transmission WITH A WARRANTY is fine. There is a slightly different band adjustment for the SRT-10 that is easily accomplished.

NEW SRT RUMBLE BEE TRUCK (2027)

Yeah an OLD racer trick in the professional stock racing classes. Put the 904 guts in a 727 housing. The lighter parts and that low(er) 2.77 first-gear set was a great "cheat".

NEW SRT RUMBLE BEE TRUCK (2027)

Gears, Shmears.....W.T.F. Kiwi ? ;) You should have plenty of torque with that engine combination of yours; particularly at your altitude. And even enough to throw a line out and pull the vehicle beside you. 1700+ p.s.i. per cylinder gets a lot of work done! Your cam isn't very big and is...

NEW SRT RUMBLE BEE TRUCK (2027)

Whenever you get tired of shifting, you MIGHT be able to find an adapter to hook that bad boy up to your 8.3. It should last for several seconds.

NEW SRT RUMBLE BEE TRUCK (2027)

Your post is GOLDEN. I took out my stock 48RE almost immediately after installing the Strikers and the first mild cam. 10K for the heads and cam was only the start of the monetary adventure and the subsequent parts carnage. You ARE actually re-engineering complete and proven units and it takes...

NEW SRT RUMBLE BEE TRUCK (2027)

No I don't, but the "90" can be built to withstand that power level reliably and the "95" is already there, so they say. But, neither transmission offers the additional strength I am after. My 48RE was built for 1500 horsepower which is considerably stronger than the 8HP90 or the "95". My...
