I do, and I bought a bunch of sweaters on sale in anticipation. The latest is the flooding that will occur when Icebergs melt! That's just embarrassing..
No Push-ups...a real heartbreaker (Haha).
Why no planes for you??
8 hours is a long haul for you (and of course the Surgeons!)
No pipe cleaners used that I was aware of.
I'm not on the regular trio-of-terror meds either: (blood thinner, beta-blocker and statins) like I'm "supposed to be", but...
Honestly, they were really pushing pain killers in the hospital and asked things like: "How are WE feeling today?". Maybe they were seeing double. Joking aside, they saved my life but no pain killers after surgery and none at home. I don't like them. No pain No Brain??
BUT, Im glad they used...
Yes, I (arguably) "grew up" in Vancouver B.C. and as the San Andreas fault runs through there, it used to give us a reminder of instability sometimes, with a small rumbler. Pics on the floor, model cars dismembered, etc.

Hopefully, it wasn't sludge burning off from inside the 8.3 ;)
Maybe borrow a 6-71 (although a bit undersized) off one of those locos for your Striker Build. That could be...
IF YOU HAVE TO drive the truck, take the rad cap off (unless the weather temperature is too hot on the drive home). That way, it will take nearly 15 p.s.i. off of the entire cooling system and at least reduce (or if you're lucky, eliminate) any leaks from a crack, or whatever is causing it...
