    Question About Colling Fan

The stock set up is variable speed. What I did was allow you to kick the stock fan on full speed without setting a check engine light. I will have to find the old post that I had a write up in. It takes more than just a switch, a couple relays and diodes are also needed. I'll be back...

    Question About Colling Fan

The cooling fan speed is driven by power steering fluid and controlled by the PCM. The PCM ramps the speed up and down to try and maintain the temps. I found a way to manually turn the fan on high, but it isn't the easiest mod to do. It sure moves a lot of air though.

    Guage

:dontknow: Ok, so my pic wasn't quite as detailed :p BTW, a vacuum gauge can also be used as an instant MPG gauge. The closer to 0 the needle is pointing, the more gas you are sucking down.

    Happy Birthday to STINGRAY

Hey, I was at a redneck bachelor party all day yesterday (not mine) :D No strippers but a shit load of rifle shooting, trap shooting, 4-wheelin, off-road oval track racing and some demolition derby thrown in too

There is a small vacuum line that comes off the top of the brake booster line. Try connecting it there in-between the 2 check valves.

    Gauges for a SC Install

:dito: I always preferred the mechanical gauges even though they are a little more work to install sometimes.

    Gauges

For my WB I used the Wideband Commander from Dynojet and a Autometer FP gauge. I wanted to match my original cluster.

    Truck Cooling Questions

I would only consider the meth if the motor was under boost. If your just looking to keep the engine running cooler then I would do a t-stat and some form of cooling fan mod. People will argue both sides of the meth issue. The reason some say not to use it is because it is corrosive to...

    EGT and O2

    What code(s) are you getting?

    EGT and O2

That shouldn't bother the O2 but I thought you would want the EGT close to the exhaust ports at the heads :dontknow:

The adapters for the solenoid are supposed to be a pipe threaded fitting (the threads are tapered). Your fittings in the pics look like bubble flare adapters. They look like fittings to screw into the master and ABS that will then accept a double flare.

    Line lock

Well, I'm home from work now. So I don't have access to the adapters. Can you send a pic? I also forgot to mention you will need 2 plugs for the solenoid too.

    Line lock

I've got a bunch of those at work. I could send you a few if you're not in a huge hurry.

It's a metric fitting, I think it's called an ISO metric flare - also know as bubble flare. Dealers have the equipment to make those flares. You can also buy those pre-made lines from some part stores, the only problem is the threaded fitting itself might be the wrong size. You would have to...
