The factory sub is wired for 4 ohm. (Dual Voice Coil) I replaced mine with a JL Audio, and was very pleased.

I got the Conti's in the 305/45. A little taller, but I like em! And you have to really look to see the height difference. They ride good, and have good wet weather traction. PLUS, by buying that size I saved about $76 per tire!

He was probably doing practice strafing runs, and using the highway as a practice strip. They don't always "go live" when training.
