Removing the cats makes your truck breath easier...ie exit exhaust gases easier. You will smell the exhaust fumes more. Throttle response will be improved. As far as making your truck run lean or rich that is controlled by the tune.....your b&g stage two. patrick

4.88's made my truck feel 1000 lbs lighter. Dont run the quarter so dont know about running out of gear. My truck feels like a giant torquey beast.....it burns through first and second gear like I am drivng in the grass. Third gear scratch is easy. Feels like an old school hot rod.....a...

Downside of the K&N is the "heatsoak" problem. That is eliminated when you install DC Perf stage two or similar flash. Ditto on the tone and bling factor. patrick

Unless your a wrencher buying an old car can be frustrating......"old cars new problems". My bud got an flawless c6 (notta z06) with only 2500 miles on it for $40k last year. It was a one year old car. Its an awesome ride. I would love to own one after sitting inside it. patrick
