The owner of the shop said they won't do the mods to the housing and axles. He said if I bent the stock axle then I'm really putting alot of stress on the rear end. He said the only way he would mod the rear end is to convert it to a full floater like NASCAR use's. I know I bent the axle drag...

I smoked mine in less time than that. Spent the $900 and 12k hard miles later it still shifts great when the truck not on blocks with no rearend.:( :( :(

06 RC is the way to go.

See post # 2. Like chief asks, how and where do you drive your truck. I have the BFG's because I road race my truck and they have the softest rubber and I don't drive in the rain. Buy a tire for how you use the truck.

Welcome. You will need to forge the motor if you are going FI. Plan on 20k atleast for motor and trans work. But when your done you won't be able to get that grin off your face until the truck says I need another 5k to be happy.

My son races our jeep in the high school class at PIR. Last Wedensday night he ran 8.29 t0 8.31 in the 1/8 mile. Not bad for a 4800 lb stock Jeep.
