Ice box results.

Placed it in the bed of the truck, to keep it away from engine heat. With 90 degree ambient temps, the IAT's were between 90 - 97 degrees. :rock: Only problem is, even in the bed, the ice melts fast as shit. Can anyone give me advice on how to insulate it? I'm hoping this would help the ice last longer.

Never delt with dry ice before. The hole is probaly big enough. Can I use it in the metal box and can it be used with water?

THats what I was thinking. Was in Publix today, even they (some I guess) sell dry ice.

if you use dry ice and water make sure it has a good vent or else BOOM!
Also the air might be too cold and could create condensate.

you can prob get the heat reflective insulation , such as for floor pans, and try that?

Home Depot has foam in spray form but my best recommendation would have been to actually plumb a cooler. Supposively, even using a cooler would only net you a couple of runs before you would have to drain it and add new ice. You might also want to try West Marine. They definitely have foam they use to secure marine fuel tanks or to add flotation to boats.
