You do have to watch for bumps, dips in the road and pot holes. I have rubbed the front inner fenders a couple of times going through dips at high speed.
If it has all 4 cats, it's probably not tuned. You don't pick up a lot on a stock RC with a tune, but every little bit helps. The QC guys pick up a fair bit, as the torque management gets turned off.
It really depends on the mileage of your truck, as far as replacing coils and wires. You can reuse the intake gaskets, as long as they are not damaged. Stock coils and wires work fine, even with mods. It's really up to you if you want to spend the $$ to change from stock.
