well, thanks. we built it on our own in about 15 months 5 years ago. We used recovered bricks from old demolitions. Gives a special look to it. Now we're slowly getting to the last phase: Garden(gate)

was refering to the plug which goes in the amp (underneath the center console/seat).

have you checked if the wiring plug is connected to the amp properly? I had the same thing a while back and it turned out the plug wasn't in completely...
