Just out of curiosity, what is the total production number up to?

I have the exact same issue with mine. I always gas up before the 1/4 tank mark to prevent it. I also have the issue of the truck 'stumbles' through the transition period of the pump coming on. Seems to be about 2250-3000rpm. Anyone else have this issue?

Looks like you are experiencing detonation to me. It will do strange things to your plugs. Had it happen to me.

Sir, I would say your friend is experiencing detonation. I have had this happen in the past, and this was the cause. Hope this helps...
